🎃 Heading out for Halloween tomorrow? Keep the scares for the costumes!

A few simple reminders for a safe and happy evening:

Carry a torch and add reflective details to costumes when walking after dark.

Use pavements and crossings, and make sure you can see clearly through masks or face coverings.

Accompany younger children, and agree a route, return time and meeting point with older children.

Only approach homes welcoming trick-or-treaters, respect “no callers” signs and never enter someone’s home.

Look over children’s sweets before they eat them and check labels for allergies.

Keep costumes and decorations away from flames and heaters.

Keep your phone charged and look out for the people you’re with.
